ГРАДЊА ЦРКВЕ
 
Градња цркве у једном месту
је његово узлажење ка небу
а и силазак неба на земљу,
црква је дакле свето,
небоземно место
крста и васкрсења,
место сусрета
Бога, ангела и људи,
место пројаве
Царства Небескога у историји,
на земљи
 
Народни песник је давно рекао,
да градећи цркву градимо себе,
себе боголиког, христоликог,
по облику и подобију Божијем,
градећи једну цркву
ми постајемо деца Божија
јер градимо кућу
своме Небеском Оцу - Богу,
да Му се на том месту непрестано молимо,
да плачемо над собом кад грешимо
и да се радујемо када се покајемо
 
Зато путниче који ходиш земљом овом,
и у којој видиш цркве и светиње,
знај  да у тој земљи има спасења, има Бога,
јер Бог живи у Својим небоземним кућама,
у Својим православним црквама,
у којима многи људи прогледају,
глухи поново чују,
хроми проходају,
ту се проповеда Јеванђеље Христово,
Царство Небеско и Живот Вечни,
то је Православље,
- земља и људи, цркве и светиње
које постоје и живе славећи Бога,
Једног у Тројици
- Оца и Сина и Светога Духа,
Коме нека је Слава
у векове векова

BUILDING A CHURCH
 
Building a church in some place
is its ascent to heaven
and a descent of heaven to earth, too,
the church is therefore a holy,
heavenly and earthly place
of cross and resurrection,
a place of meeting
of God, angels and people,
a place of manifestation
of the Kingdom of Heaven in history,
on earth.
 
A folk poet said long ago,
that by building a church, we build ourselves,
ourselves God-like, Christ-like,
in the image and likeness of God,
by building a church
we become children of God
because we are building a house
for our Heavenly Father - God,
so that we may pray to Him there constantly,
that we may weep over ourselves when we sin
and rejoice when we repent.
 
Therefore, the sojourner who walks this land,
and in which you behold churches and shrines,
know that in that land there is salvation, there is God,
for God lives in His heavenly and earthly houses,
in His Orthodox churches,
in which many people receive their sight,
the deaf hear again,
the lame begin to walk,
there the Gospel of Christ is preached,
the Kingdom of Heaven and the Eternal Life,
that is Orthodoxy,
- the land and the people, churches and shrines
that exist and live glorifying God,
the One in the Trinity
- the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
To whom be the glory
unto the ages of ages
